  5. Hi Padhu
I am happy to know you liked my garden and Brinjal plants.
Even i don't like to use chemical fertilizers. Our plants are purely organic. Normally i make organic compost using the kitchen waste, and vegetable waste by treating them with EM. When not possible, i buy small quantities of FYM from any farmers' shops that sell seeds) and add them with onion's skin, dried leaves fallen in the garden and place them around the plant.

Though my husband tells me about vermi compost, so far i didn't try it. Even the EM, i use only when he brings some small quantities of it from his farmer friends, i apply it; else,no specific concoctions i tried so far.

Hope the home remedies kind of solutions work better for a home garden than any of these formulations, even though in principle they are good, but for me it creates an additional task of procuring them and making them garden ready. Especially, the process of making EM from the culture demands so much of additional attention and space, which, in a small flat is difficult to spare!
Let me know if any of my localised formulas are of any help!
    Cheers.

  7. Dear Padhu
Nice to know you started natural treatment for your garden. Thanks for sending link of your blog.
For pest control you try to do this remedy,In a mug full of water mix 1 spoon of turmeric powder mix well, then sprinkle on the plant. It will not harm your plant, try this remedy. Try to remove those pest effected leaves also. Neem cake also excellent pest control. Happy gardening.
    cheers
